Dr. Anthony Markiewicz has lived and worked in Mundelein for over 30 years. He is proud to serve his community through quality dental care.
Education
Dr. Markiewicz grew up in Norridge, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois Chicago school of dentistry. After serving as a dental officer in the United States Navy, he opened his dental practice in Mundelein in 1988. Dr. Markiewicz is committed to continuous education and in 2005 was awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Fewer than 6% of dentists have earned the AGD Fellowship.
Dental Interests
Dr. Markiewicz enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in exploring an integrated medicine model of dentistry, which stresses the connection of the mouth to the health of the rest of the body. He stays current with the ever-changing field through continuing dental education, receiving training through Spear Education, Pankey, and Kois. Dr. Markiewicz is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois Dental Association, and Seattle Study Club.
