Hi, I am Missy. I am the office manager. I have been with the practice since 1995. I love working with our patients. We always want to provide a positive and relaxing experience, and the best way to do that is to know exactly what each patient wants! I enjoy working with Dr. Markiewicz and Dr. David because they always provide the best care and treatment for their patients. Markiewicz Dental as an employee you are treated like family. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my family. I have always been driven by a passion for an active lifestyle and devotion to family. Having close-knit relationships with friends, family, and patients keeps me grounded and motivated.

Greetings, I’m Elizabeth, the Practice Administrator, I have been with Markiewicz Dental since 1999. I have a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have also earned my Fellowship Recognition from the American Academy of Dental Office Manager. Our outstanding Business Team helps ensure that the administrative functions of the practice run smoothly to allow our clinical team to focus wholeheartedly on your dental treatment, upholding our commitment to help your teeth for a longer lifetime.
My involvement outside of work is spending time with my husband, four children, and five cherished grandchildren. I frequently travel to Iowa to visit my daughters and four of my grandchildren, making family a cornerstone of my life. Passionate about giving back, I am actively involved with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and the American Lung Association. I have a persona convection to these causes and participate in events like runs, walks, stair climbs such as conquering Soldier Field stair climb to raise awareness and support research for various lung diseases.

Hi! My name is Sari and I have been with Markiewicz Dental for over 2 years now. I have been in the dental field for almost 25 years spending half of those years in an orthodontic practice and the other half in cosmetic/general dentistry. After my husband retired, we had the wonderful opportunity to move to sunny Arizona. Imagine my surprise when I was offered a remote position with this amazing practice! I miss seeing our patients in person, but I’m thankful to be able to speak to so many of you on the phone.

I’ve been working in the dental field for over 12 years, and I truly love what I do. Before joining this amazing office in November 2024, I worked in a periodontal practice, where I gained valuable experience and a deeper understanding of patient care. What makes this office so special is the way we treat our patients—with genuine care, respect, and compassion. The doctors here are incredible, and it’s an honor to be part of a team that puts people first. Even more meaningful is that I now get to work in the same town I grew up in—being back here feels like coming home. Outside of work, my world revolves around my family. My husband and I have three wonderful kids—Kaylie, Achilles, and Aries—and most weekends, you’ll find me out on the field cheering them on. Family and community are everything to me, and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love in a place that means so much.

I’ve been in the dental field for almost 10 years, and I’m so happy to have found my professional home at Markiewicz Dental. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this was a special place. I had been searching for a team that not only delivers high-quality care but also treats patients with genuine kindness and compassion—and I’m lucky to have found exactly that here. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for dentistry. I truly enjoy getting to know each patient, making them feel at ease, and being part of their journey to a healthier, more confident smile. Being able to do what I love in such a supportive and caring environment means the world to me. When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and kids. I also love reading, traveling to new places, and exploring different wines through wine tasting. Life outside of work helps me stay balanced and energized for the work I love to do every day.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our little zoo which includes our dog, cat, and four birds! I have a passion for tending to my growing succulent collection and exploring new places!

Dental hygiene is a passion of mine and I enjoy providing quality dental care through education. I also appreciate developing personal and professional relationships with my patients. In my free time, you’ll find me laughing along side my marvelous husband, daughter and family. I love being outdoors, listening to music, cooking, and traveling.

Hello, I am Tammy, in 2019 I was given the wonderful opportunity to join the team here at Markiewicz Dental. I start working in the dental profession in 1996 as a dental assistant and loved it so much, I went back to become a dental hygienist in 2001. I really enjoy getting to know my patients both on a professional and personal level. I strive to help every patient maintain and improve their dental health through education, keeping in mind that a healthy mouth improves your overall body health. I’m originally from Connecticut and love going back to spend time with my family as much as I can. I moved to Illinois in 2006, after living in few different towns I finally settled down in Mundelein in 2018. A wonderful man was this reason, my now husband, the love of my life. We share our lives with our dog who is our everything.I look forward to meeting each and every one of you, see you soon!

My name is Brenda I’ve been a practicing hygienist since 2016. I grew up in Grayslake but recently moved to my first home in Mundelein about a year ago. I enjoy international travel, taking time to go on walks with my husband and our two dogs Simone and Pumba. I also enjoy talking about airway focused dentistry and Myofunctional therapy. The goals of Myofunctional therapy are to exclusively nasal breath, strengthen the facial muscles and tongue and lastly correct swallow patterns. I look forward to getting to know you and growing professionally in the practice.

Hi, I’m Laura, and I have been a hygienist since 1979! I would occasionally work for Markiewicz Dental from 2010-2018. Last December I was filling in for a team member, and now I work Mondays. I’m also a CPR instructor and have worked in a nursing home and schools. I have tried to retire, but I love what I do. Patient education and developing relationships are my passion. Outside of dentistry, I have been married for 41 years. I have a married daughter and two grandcats. I enjoy reading, music, yoga and my beautiful neighborhood by the Fox River.

I’m especially interested in the connection between oral health and systemic conditions and am committed to ongoing education in this area. It’s incredibly rewarding to work in a practice like Markiewicz Dental, where patient care is approached with a whole-health perspective. Being part of a team that prioritizes both oral health and overall wellness is something I value greatly. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog, Izzo. I’m adventurous and love spontaneous travel, exploring the outdoors, crafting, and sports. Our family especially treasures time together at the lake.

Hello, I’m Ania, and I’ve been proudly serving as a dental assistant at Markiewicz Dental since 2016, bringing with me over 25 years of experience in the dental field. My journey in dentistry has been a rewarding one. I take pride in my gentle chairside manner and am committed to helping patients maintain their best oral health. Outside of the dental office, I find my greatest joy in spending time with my wonderful family. I’m a devoted wife, a proud mother of three, and a loving grandmother to two precious grandchildren. Family is everything to me.I’m also an avid gardener, turning my backyard into a vibrant oasis of colorful blooms and lush greenery. Tending to my garden is not just a hobby; it’s a passion that brings me immense satisfaction. In addition to gardening, I have a deep love for cooking. I enjoy creating fresh, homemade meals for my loved ones, often incorporating ingredients from my garden.

I began my career with the Markiewicz Dental Team in 1996 as a Dental Assistant, but throughout the years I have performed many roles within our office. I am currently one of our infection control specialists. A big part of this role is maintaining a safe and sanitized environment for our patients and our team. I am certified in coronal polishing and sealants, and I also do in office whitenings for our patients. I have a passion for the dental field, and I enjoy helping others change their lives and smiles. Interacting with our patients is one of the many highlights of my job. When away from my work “family,” I value quality time with my husband, two children, and three dogs. I enjoy traveling with our camper, gardening, and going for walks.

Hello! I work in the infection control area of our office, which I truly enjoy. I also enjoy helping our Hygienists in getting their rooms ready for our patients. But my favorite part of each day is when I get the opportunity to help seat our patients for their appointment! I especially love getting to know you and your stories!! They have brought me joy, humor, tears and humbleness, and much needed laughter! Y’all are the best!! When not at work, I love to bake and cook and change up recipes. We have a new puppy Sophie, 8mos old now. It took us 18yrs to decide to have a dog again…and she was TOTALLY meant for us! We’re loving having a doggo in the family again.

We love spending time together as a family, especially outdoors or cooking up some of our favorite Ukrainian meals.
